Australian artist, David Smouha, is based on the sunny beaches of the Gold Coast. His work in digital art is a reflection of his world - whimsical, zany, colourful and over the top. He takes what he sees, using photography to capture scenes, places, people - a moment in time - and then flips it through his lens; digitally painting, using graphic overlays, colour and light to create striking images and captivating scenes. But the most important element in his work is fun!
David Smouha was born in Sydney, Australia and studied interior design. His work has brightened up homes and street scenes of Sydney as well as featuring in Belle and Australian Home Journal magazines. David's creative work includes the built environment, interior design, videography, fashion and digital art.
When he's not creating art, you can find David walking on the beach at sunrise with a coffee, swimming laps at his local pools or jumping on a plane to any number of international destinations!
