What David says about this piece: Out on a walk, I came across the foundry in North Head in Sydney where they cast statues and sculptures and this guy was in the bushes. So took a photo of him. Then there were some nice industrial walls where they actually did the foundering. So I cut him out and stuck him there and then the flowers and some of the things that are on him come from a mix of things like a motorcycle helmet, flowers from an art gallery in New Zealand also flowers from a hill at the top of Raglan cliffs. It just comes together and becomes a story about all those different places joined together.
